I have been a parent governor here at Morven Park Primary School since 2014. I currently work with NTU as a Residency Manager. This gives me experience of dealing with budgets, dealing with the education team and people management. In my role as a governor, i sit on the pupil and personnel committee and I am chair of the finance committee. My wife now works at Morven Park as a Teaching Assistant.

I am a parent to two children at Morven park and, until recently, was teacher here for several years. I have been a teacher for 14 years in most age ranges in school and I am currently an assistant head teacher in Nottingham. I have a particular interest in curriculum, writing and history. I hope to use my knowledge of teaching and learning to support the school in providing the best possible experience at Morven Park.

I have 3 children who have all attended MPPS. My youngest is currently in F2. I have a Masters degree in Developmental Psychology and work with Educational Psychologist’s in Leicester. I also work as a linguist for the Ministry of Justice and speak Slovak, Czech, Hungarian and Arabic. I believe my language skills can help families at MPPS break language barriers alongside my experience and skills working with children.
